CALL BOARD MEETING TO ORDER.
MOTION to accept August 14, 16 Board Meeting Minutes by Jon Ebensperger and Terry Johnson.
PUBLIC WORKS-Chris Zenner reported that 20 cubic yards of chip seal was completed. The pea gravel was swept up, taken to the dump and tarped so that we can possibly reused it. He reported on the progress of the lift station issues and issues we still have at the wastewater ponds. Energenics and August Winters were both here this week to run through the issues and will be coming out in October to address the issues. He reported on the cost of removing trees at Saratoga Park which is $250.00. Bernard Shoeder is wanting to buy the set of forks that are broken. The board said that it would be fine to sell them as we would could not use them anymore. He bought the forks for $150.00. Finally, Chris reported that the sewer jetting was completed by Ellsworth and all the water valves had been actuated.
MOTION to Approve Resolution Number 131-3 Pierce County all Hazards Mitigation Plan by Ebensperger/Johnson, motion carried.
DISCUSSION on Village Park Shower/Restroom facility and Campground issues. Discussion on when they wanted the bids to be put in the paper again. It was agreed upon that they should be put in the paper in mid-December having the deadline sometime in late January or early February. The board also talked about the portable restrooms and they agreed we should investigate it further.
MOTION to approve sending Clerk to the Fall Town and Village Workshop on September 26, 2019 in Eau Claire, WI by Johnson/Neibeling, motion carried
MOTION to Approve amending Ordinance Number 50-C Animal Control Ordinance with corrections made verifying that Goodhue County Humane Society would be the only facility listed as they are our go to for services by Baker/Johnson, motion carried
MOTION to Approve bills by Ebensperger/Niebeling, motion carried.
