PUBLIC WORKS: Chris reported that he had checked with Rural Water regarding putting a new well on the lots that we have up on the corner of EE and Elsa Ave, they said that this location would not be a good location to use for an additional well. That location would probably be using the same aquafer as the current one. The board did not make any decisions regarding selling of the lot or not. Chris asked permission to go to the 24th Outdoor Expo in Plover which the board made a motion to send Chris to the Conference.
MOTION to send Chris Zenner to the 24th Annual Outdoor Expo in Plover, WI by Johnson/McConnell, motion carried. Chris reported that we received all A’s on our CMAR report with Wisconsin DNR. Rural Water will be coming next week to help with the set up of the oxygen Meters.
DISCUSSION on the campground and the vandalism that took place on the 4th of July. The campground attendant was not on hand for that evening because it was there day off. On the 4th during the night, the fireworks went a bit crazy in the campground. They put a large firework in one of the men’s toilets and it had BM in the toilet which it shot that all over the floor, wall, and ceiling of the men’s bathroom. It was a huge mess down at the campground. In the future the attendant must be on duty for all summer holidays. We did have a camera pointed at the bathroom and it did get a picture of two males, all of this was reported to the Pierce County Sheriff’s office. They came out and took a report of the incident and the camera photos were turned over to them.
