GENERAL MEETING, December 14, 2022

PRESENT: Roger Spindler, Norman Baker, Jon Ebensperger, Terry Johnson, Jerry McConnell, Kimberly Lunda , Chris Zenner

CALL BOARD MEETING TO ORDER

MOTION: to Accept November 15, 2022, Board Meeting Minutes by Ebensperger/Johnson, motion carried.

MOTION to accept November 15, Budget Prep meeting minutes with corrections to the 50%/50% on the dental plan(corrections were made) by McConnell/Johnson, motion carried.

PUBLIC WORKS: Chris reported that his has been working on DNR requirements this week which involved the Villages future plans on drinking water improvements getting a scale for the well house and improvements to the well house as the roof still needs to be repaired. He also worked with Trustee Baker on the bucket that we purchased from Hines Auctions, they were working on putting the new blade on and a few other repairs. A discussion was on the old blade being put on Wisconsin Surplus to move it out of here. Chris reported that there are a few manholes sticking up after the frost and that he would need to take a look at lowering them in the spring.

DISCUSSION on moving the campground managers campsite as the one that they thought would work is a very popular spot. The board could not agree upon a spot, some measuring needed to take place, so they decided to table this until the next board meeting.

DISCUSSION on Sharon Smit’s son being allowed to keep the campsite that he and his mom shared, Sharon passed away in late November. The board decided to allow Kevin McCaslin to keep the spot that was his moms and his as the camper is his camper and he had shared the spot with his mom. Site 14 will remain Kevin McCaslin’s

MOTION to allow Kevin McCaslin to keep spot number 14 that he and his mom shared by McConnell/Johnson, motion carried.

DISCUSSION on what the plan commission recommended to the board on Tom Lidahl residing in his camper during construction of his home on Lake Pepin Blvd. The plan commission recommended that he be allowed to do so as there is a provision for him to do so in the Zoning Ordinance and because he has had so many issues with Vandalism, he has had his shed broken into several times with tools being stolen and the big picture window was broken out of the front of the home.

MOTION to Approve allowing Tom Lidahl to use his camper on his property until mid-April 2023 by Ebensperger/McConnell, motion carried.

MOTION to Approve Operator’s License for Shayla Hamann, Jolenne Jamison, LuAnn Dahl and Tara Tri by Johnson/Ebensperger, motion carried.

MOTION to approve using clothing allowance to be used for eyeglasses by McConnell/Johnson, motion carried.

MOTION to Appoint as Election Chief Inspectors – Sue Harriman and Jan Spindler, as Inspectors Cheryl Enevold, Yvonne Marklevits, Stacy McConnell by Johnson/Ebensperger, motion carried.

MOTION to set Caucus date for January 4th, 2023, at 6:30 by Ebensperger/Johnson, motion carried.

MOTION to pay bills by Ebensperger/Johnson, motion carried.
