CALL BOARD MEETING TO ORDER.
MOTION to Accept Feb 10th & 23, 2021 Board Meeting Minutes by Baker/Johnson, motion carried.
PUBLIC WORKS: Chris reported he was working with Durand, WI John Deere to trade in the flail mower and get a used/new mower for the Village the board was presented with the trade in proposal, and all agreed to go ahead with the purchase. Chris questioned the board about having Jeff Link go from Part-Time 2 to Part-Time 1, the board was reminded that we needed someone to work weekends so that Chris can have a break and they originally wanted to hire Jeff for that reason in 2020. The board agreed that they would move Jeff from PT2 to PT1. The issue of choosing the sidewalk that is completed this year was brought up the board wanted to have a chance to look at the sidewalks and then decide which ones should be completed. Chris reported that Backwoods would be working on the pedestal sometime before April 15 and he and Jerry Sprick would be working on the sewer lines up in the upper campground along with grinding stumps in the campground and leveling out in site 6 in the upper campground. The cameras were discussed again, and the board wanted to know how far out the Cuddy Link camera’ took a photo and how high to put them, and if they had solar panels.
MOTION to go ahead with the trading in of the mowers and purchase of a new mower from John Deere/Tractor Central in Durand, WI by Spindler/Baker, motion carried.
MOTION to move Public Works employee from Part-Time 2 to Part-Time 1 by Johnson/Spindler, motion carried.
MOTION to set the date for Board of Review for May 12th from 4pm to 6pm by Baker/Spindler, motion carried.
DISCUSSION on purchasing new curtains for Village Hall as the Seniors were donating $250 for the painting of Village Hall Kitchen and new curtains. The board agreed that we could purchase new curtains with the Village matching the donation of $250.
MOTION to move forward with purchasing new curtains by Spindler/Johnson, motion carried.
MOTION to approve Picnic Licenses for the Bombers on May 8-9, 22-23, June 6, 12-13, 20 and July 10,18 and 25th by Spindler/Johnson, motion carried.
MOTION to approve Donation to the Bay City Bombers for $150 for the program sponsorship by Spindler/Johnson, motion carried.
MOTION to approve Operator’s license for Britney Marie Schommer and Jennifer Melanie Eisby Baker/Johnson, motion carried.
