CALL BOARD MEETING TO ORDER.
MOTION to Accept December 9, 2020 Board Meeting Minutes by Ebensperger/Johnson, motion carried.
PUBLIC WORKS: Chris reported that there was a problem with the new bathrooms heater up in the loft went out, he replaced the heater on Christmas Day. An auger bit was obtained, and Norm is going to make an extension for it to go with the machine that will dig the cremains sites in the cemetery. DNR inspected the burn site, we just need to add the burn site lettering to the sign at the entrance of the dump. Chris updated the sign, and everything was then found to be acceptable. Someone broke into the dump and vandalized the back up score board sign that was stored there. The cut the whole back of the sign up making it unusable. The spot for the skating rink is ready but we are still waiting on the fire department to give us a call back. We were able to purchase tarps for much less than we expected they were only $10 apiece and they even gave us some free ones. Some of the winter tree trimming was completed Jeff came in and helped Chris with some in the cemetery and the campground.
MOTION to buy the Cyber Security Insurance policy, just the basic policy for $909 by Johnson/Baker, motion carried.
MOTION to purchase raffle license for $25 by Ebensperger/Johnson, motion carried.
DISCUSSION on charges for the cemetery, it was decided that the residents of Bay City would continue to pay the same price and any out-of-town people would have to pay $1,200. for a gravesite, grave marking fee of $200 and digging cremains $400.
MOTION to add additional cost to out of town people that want to purchase gravesites to $1200. and to raise the price of grave marking fee $200 and digging of cremains to $400. By Baker/Johnson, motion carried.
MOTION to update the wording to the burning ordinance to include that the Village Clerks Office must be contacted for burning by Johnson/Baker, motion carried
MOTION to purchase a new handheld for reading our meters by Baker/Johnson, motion carried
