CALL BOARD MEETING TO ORDER.
PRESENT: Roger Spindler, Norman Baker, Jon Ebensperger, Terry Johnson , Kimberly Lunda, and Chris Zenner. Zoom was set up for those that wanted to be there for the meeting. The Village Hall was also open to the public.
MOTION to Accept April 14 & 21, 2021 Board Meeting Minutes by Ebensperger/Johnson, motion carried.
MOTION to Approve Vacating Tank Street and Maple Street on the North Side of Hwy 35 Only by Johnson/Baker, motion carried.
MOTION to Approve the Adjustment of the Front Yard Definition at W6306 Elsa Ave for Janelle and Zane Braund by Ebensperger/Johnson, motion carried
MOTION to Approve Zoning Change for Dollar General Property from Residential -2(R-2) to Business – 2 (B-2) by Ebensperger/Johnson, motion carried.
REVIEW of the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals Decision for Site Plan Approval and the Variance Request. Research was conducted by the Public Works Director on Wednesday morning and it found that the perk tests had been conducted by the county and the findings were completed. The county reported that Dollar General has the go ahead to install the mound type system at the site as the testing came back good. A variance acceptance contract will be drawn up by Village Attorney Robert Loberg.
MOTION to Approve Site Plans and the Variance Request for Dollar General to install the Mound type system for Sewer along with Well Drilling by Baker/Johnson, motion carried.
REVIEW of which sidewalks that need to be replaced; the board had looked at the sidewalks but were undecided as to what really needed to be completed. There is a large tree heave in front of Hince’s property that must be addressed. The concrete company said that the tree will have to be removed. Hince’s will be contacted regarding this issue.
MOTION to Approve of doing sidewalk, curb, and driveway approaches on the North side of Main Street starting at W6302 Main Ending at W6322 Main by Ebensperger/Johnson, motion carried.
